Dodge County Drug Court Graduation and Celebration

Tuesday, January 12, 2021

WHAT:    The Dodge County Drug Court team is pleased to announce that another drug court participant has successfully completed the Adult Drug Court Program. This is a great accomplishment for the graduate, as he has worked very hard to reach graduation.  Please join us in celebrating this outstanding achievement.

WHO:      Judge Geoffrey C. Hall

WHEN:    January 26, 2021, at 3:45 p.m., Graduation celebration to follow.

WHERE:  District Court Courtroom of the Dodge County Courthouse,

428 North Broad Street, Fremont, NE

WHY:       For problem-solving court graduates, the ceremony marks the completion of an intensive program of comprehensive behavioral health treatment, intensive community supervision, and full accountability. Problem-solving courts are an alternate route through the criminal justice system for nonviolent drug-related offenders, which utilize a specialized team process that functions within the existing court structure. Problem-solving courts are designed to achieve a reduction in recidivism and substance use among individuals with substance use disorders. The court’s goal is to protect public safety and increase the participant’s likelihood of successful rehabilitation by utilizing validated risk and need assessments, early and individualized behavioral health treatment, frequent and random chemical testing, incentives, sanctions, and other rehabilitative and ancillary services.
