Omaha Separate Juvenile Court Judge Elizabeth Crnkovich to Leave Bench Today

Douglas County Separate Juvenile Court Elizabeth G. Crnkovich has resigned her position.  Her last day on the bench is September 11, 2019.

In her letter to the Governor, Crnkovich wrote, “It has been my honor and privilege to serve the children and families in Douglas County for almost 25 years!  I am forever grateful for having had such a wonderful opportunity.”

Crnkovich served on the Omaha bench from 1995 through today.

The first step in replacing Judge Crnkovich will be for the Judicial Resources Commission to call a meeting to determine whether or not, based on judicial workload statistics, her retirement creates a judicial vacancy on the Separate Juvenile Court bench in Omaha.
