Understanding Youth Populations with Low-Cognitive Disorders and Mental Illness

In this workshop, registrants will gain techniques and strategies for working with clients affected by co-occurring I/DD and mental health disorders, understand the prevalence of co-occurring I/DD and mental health disorders, EBP adaptations, using assessment tools to measure progress, treatment planning, medication management, and working with caregivers and psychiatrists.

Intended audience: mental health therapists, probation staff, case managers, providers, direct care staff, criminal justice and law enforcement, community stakeholders, and family members.

Each session is offered from 9 A.M. – 4 P.M. (check-in begins at 8:30 A.M.)

Cost to Attend: $15 (includes light morning and afternoon snacks, plus 5.5 social work/mental health and criminogenic-approved CEUs)
