Supreme Court Law School Oral Arguments
The Supreme Court travels to each of Nebraska’s law schools for the purpose of making the court’s business accessible to students on their campuses. Annual visits are made to the University of Nebraska College of Law and Creighton University School of Law.
Justices spend time after the argument sessions talking to students about the appellate process and career options as lawyers. Cases are selected to demonstrate the variety of legal arguments that face the Court on a regular basis.
In preparation for arguments, case summaries are distributed to students and available on the Nebraska Supreme Court Argument Archive.
This program is directed by the Chief Justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court.
