A-13-811, In re Interest of Zoey S.

Dodge County, County Judge Kenneth J. Vampola

Attorney for Appellant:  Mary Michele Ellis

Attorney for Appellee-State of Nebraska:  Timothy E. Sopinski (Deputy Dodge County Attorney)

Attorney for Appellee-DHHS:  Neleigh N. Boyer (Special Assistant Attorney General)

Attorney for Appellee-GAL:  Christina C. Boydston

Juvenile Action:  Relinquishment of Parental Rights

Action Taken by Trial Court: The county court, sitting as a juvenile court, found that the appellant relinquished his parental rights to Zoey S. through a validly executed relinquishment and his attempt at revocation of said relinquishment was invalid.

Assignments of Error on Appeal:  Appellant assigns that the lower court erred in finding the Appellant's "voluntary" relinquishment was given voluntarily; given the fact that he had no legal counsel and was led to believe he had no other legal option.
