Steve Rowoldt - Bio

Steve Rowoldt was appointed Deputy Probation Administrator in September, 2009. Mr. Rowoldt is responsible for  the Administration and Operations Division of the Nebraska Probation System. This division oversees Information Technology, Personnel, Policies and Procedures and state-owned Inventory.

Mr. Rowoldt received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska - Omaha and received a certification in Management from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. He began his probation career as a probation officer in Falls City, Nebraska and continued as a probation officer in Beatrice, and Lincoln, Nebraska. He served as Chief Probation Officer in Lincoln from 1989 to 2009.

Steve has served on numerous community boards and committees including Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, Lincoln Council on Alcoholism and Drugs, Family Violence Council and most recently the Justice Behavioral Health Committee where he served as co-chair since 2006.
