Criminal Action: Strangulation and Third Degree Domestic Assault

Action Taken by Trial Court:  A jury found the Appellant guilty of strangulation and third degree domestic assault and the trial court later sentenced him to 4  years’ probation and one year imprisonment.

Assignments of Error on Appeal:  The appellant assigns that the trial court erred by admitting the testimony of the State’s expert witness, by overruling his Daubert objection, and by overruling his objection based upon Neb. Rev. Stat. § 27-403 (Reissue 2008).
