Trial Court Services
Trial Court Services supports the Nebraska Supreme Court in meeting its general administrative and supervisory authority as set out by the Nebraska State Constitution, art. V, sec. 1. Specifically, Trial Court Services provides direct support and information to the county, district and juvenile courts, which includes resources for courts, which are not specific to operations or technology.
Trial Court Services also provides court services information to the public. This includes personally assisting individuals with finding answers to questions related to court services they are unable to find on the website or through local offices (nsc.courtservices@nebraska.gov), and developing and maintaining content for the website.
Administrative Schedules
Trial court services supports administrative schedules, which are established under Nebraska Statutes or Supreme Court Rules.
Court Records
Trial Court Services works with the Nebraska Secretary of State Records Management, the Courts, Probation and other divisions of the AOCP to develop appropriate records management practices as required by Nebraska law.
Forms and Instructions
Trial Court Services provides forms, instructions and information to promote consistent practices within the courts and legal community and access to justice for individuals who represent themselves in matters before the court.
The Master Forms Listing provides access to the forms currently available to the public and attorneys through the Administrative Office of the Courts and Probation. These forms are from Supreme Court rules, the Administrative Office of the Courts, the Access to Justice Commission’s Self-Represented Litigation Committee and other organizations.
