The Administrative Office of the Courts and Probation is taking applications for a Personnel Administrator. This position has the responsibility for the full scope of management, functions and processes of the Supreme Court Personnel System under administrative direction. Work includes the development of policies, procedures, criteria, forms, and reports related to personnel management operations; oversight of staffing levels and salary structures; assisting with reviews of personnel transactions and decisions to ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and organizational policies; reviewing and revising classification systems including exploring pay for performance plans; and providing information to employee regarding benefits and Nebraska Supreme Court policies and procedures. Qualifications: Applicants must have knowledge of the principles, practices and terminology of public personnel administration. A degree from a four-year college in personnel management, public administration, business administration, labor relations or employment law with five years’ experience in managing personnel administration programs and supervising staff or any combination of education, training and/or experience that will enable an applicant to possess the required knowledge, skills and abilities. A Human Resource Certification is preferred.
