The Administrative Office of the Courts is taking applications for a full-time Information Systems Specialist. Work responsibilities involve but are not limited to providing end user hardware and software support to all Court employees including, but not limited to, the Supreme Court Justices and Staff, Court of Appeals Judges and Staff, Court and Probation Administrators’ Offices, Clerk’s Office, Reporter’s Office, State Law Library, and JUSTICE Staff. This position will perform as project manager on new technology projects as assigned with responsibility for completion of projects as assigned; elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis; create and maintain web pages for the Nebraska Judicial Branch’s website using Drupal (Content Management System) and perform as subject matter expert in specific areas of court information technology management. Requirements include graduation from an accredited college or university with a BA in computer science, business administration or a related field is desired. A minimum of two years of experience in a computer related field including but not limited to providing technical hardware and software end user support and network topology support. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MSCE/MCITP) and Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) are preferred.
