I have been a mediator for over 20 years. I mediate small and large group mediations, court and non-court disputes, and private and court ordered mediations to include family mediations pursuant to the Parenting Act. In addition to basic, family, special alternative dispute resolution (SADR) and federal mediation training, I have completed transformation mediation training with the U.S. Postal Service, Family Group Conference training and Interdisciplinary Collaborative Family Law training. I have been an attorney since 1985, with a focus on mediation, family, juvenile, employment, administrative and military law and belong to the Family Law and the ADR sections of the NSBA. I am a retired U.S. Army JAG. I have mediated for Douglas County Conciliation and Mediation Services over 12 years and was a mediator for the USPS Redress program (employment disputes) for 11 years. My degrees include: BSN (Vanderbilt), MS Ed (Kansas State Univ.), Masters of Strategic Studies (U.S. Army War College), and J.D. (Univ. Nebraska).
