Issues on appeal:  Appellant assigns that the district court erred in 1) denying his motion for appointment of a DNA expert; 2) refusing to allow Appellant to refresh the victim’s recollection using a recording of her forensic interview; and 3) prohibiting him from asking with an out-of-court declarant was a convicted felon. Appellant also specifically assigns several ways in which his trial counsel was ineffective.
