Douglas County Probation has upheld its tradition of community involvement by partnering with Omaha Parks and Recreation to maintain the beauty of Omaha parks. On May 12, 2023, Probation Officers Lindsay McGraw, Justin Bronson, and Melissa Elder from District 4A organized and oversaw a cleanup event at Hitchcock Park at 4220 Q Street in Omaha. With the assistance of several probation clients, they worked collaboratively to enhance the park's appearance.  Chief Probation Officer Damon Strong expressed gratitude to the volunteers for their collective efforts in improving our community.
