A swearing-in ceremony for Linda Mitchell as Clerk Magistrate of Antelope County Court was held January 30, 2018, in the Antelope County Courthouse in Neligh, Nebraska. Judge Donna Taylor presided over the ceremony.

Mitchell began working with the county court system on March 1, 1985, as a Court Stenographer.  On February 1, 1999, she was promoted to the Assistant Clerk of the Antelope County Court. Since 2007, she has also served as the statewide transcription coordinator, arranging court reporters to type transcripts and bills of exceptions for county courts across the state.
