McMahon-Boies Retires in February

Carole McMahon-Boies, Administrator of the Supreme Court Attorney Services Division, is retiring February 28, 2022, after 15+ years of service to the Judicial Branch. McMahon-Boies began her Supreme Court career in 2006 as Director of Judicial Branch Education. She later expanded into management of mandatory attorney education and Bar Admissions for the Court through the Attorney Services Division.

In October 2017, the Administrative Office of the Courts and Probation divided Judicial Branch Education and Attorney Services Division into two separate entities in order to allow each organization to focus directly on the constituency served by their respective divisions. McMahon-Boies took sole responsibility for the Attorney Services Division, which currently oversees regulation of the legal profession in Nebraska. Responsibilities include the management of Mandatory Continuing Legal Education, attorney licensure, and administration of the Nebraska bar examination.
