The Outstanding Team Award recognizes workgroups that promote a collegial, supportive environment characterized by positive morale. An accomplished team exhibits collaborative problem solving or the creation of new relationships that improve work processes marked by efficiency and superior performance.

Members of the Adolescent Development Workgroup created a curriculum to educate staff and stakeholders in enhancing skills consistent with the development of the adolescent brain. The six-module curriculum is offered to key justice stakeholders, including attorneys who work within the juvenile system. The curriculum has been tested in Lancaster County and was presented at the Robert F. Kennedy Youth Justice Symposium in Nashville, TN. The curriculum is slated to be implemented across Nebraska in 2022.
