New Leadership at Regional Community Mediation Centers Serving the Courts & Probation

 

The Nebraska Mediation Center (NMC) is pleased to announce that Kristine Roberts has been hired as the Executive Director, effective March 1, 2020. Kristine joins NMC from her law practice in Fremont, Nebraska, where she has primarily practiced in the areas of juvenile law, estate planning, and guardianship and conservatorship cases for over 9 years.  Kristine has also been an affiliated mediator with the Nebraska Mediation Center since 2010 and she is trained in basic, family, and high-conflict mediation as well as restorative justice processes, including victim-youth conferencing.  The Board of Directors is excited about the wealth of experience and enthusiasm Kristine brings to the Nebraska Mediation Center.

 

The Resolution Center (TRC) is pleased to announce that Sharon Schmidt has been promoted to Executive Director, effective September 1, 2019. Sharon has been with TRC for five years, most recently as Director of Services; she brings a business acumen to the center with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Sharon is trained in basic, family, specialized ADR (high conflict), and Victim Youth Conferencing. Sharon specializes in child welfare facilitations, including Pre-Hearing Conferences, Pre-Hearing Permanency Reviews, Pre-Hearing Termination of Parental Rights, and Family Group Conferencing. The Board of Directors is excited about the continuity that Sharon provides to the center as well as her vision for how to serve the citizens, communities, and courts in southeast Nebraska.
