Public Hearing Rescheduled for Separate Juvenile Court Judge in Lancaster County

LINCOLN -- According to Supreme Court Justice Jonathan J. Papik, the public hearing for the Judicial Nominating Commission for Separate Juvenile Court Judge in Lancaster County has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 27, 2020, beginning at 1:00 p.m. in Supreme Court Courtroom at the Nebraska State Capitol (1445 K Street) in Lincoln, Nebraska.  At the hearing, the Commission will receive information on the qualifications of candidates to fill the vacancy in the office of Juvenile Court Judge due to the retirement of Judge Toni Thorson.

The public is welcome to attend the hearing and present information concerning candidates for the judicial opening.
