Second Chance Program Creators Honored by Nebraska Supreme Court

Supreme Court and members of the Scottsbluff probation office gather in Scottsbluff to congratulate Stephanie Skinner, Lori Guerrero, and Sandra Raney on the establishment of the Second Chance Coalition of Western Nebraska. The Coalition is designed to assist individuals who have completed their probationary sentence to become fully productive members of their communities. The program innovators explained the need for the program to Supreme Court Justices who, in turn, presented the trio with rounds of applause and certificates of appreciation.

April has been designated “Second Chance Month” by Nebraska.
