The investiture ceremony of Justice John R. Freudenberg as a Justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court representing the 6th Appellate Court Judicial District will take place at 3:00 p.m. on August 10, 2018, in the Warner Chamber of the Nebraska State Capitol.

Chief Justice Mike Heavican will serve as ceremony officiant; Secretary of State John Gale will present Freudenberg’s Certificate of Appointment; Judge Matthew Acton, Lincoln, will offer the Oath of Office; and Judges Kale Burdick, O’Neill, and Russell Harford, Chadron, will speak on Freudenberg’s behalf.           

The public is invited to attend.
