Information Regarding Requesting a Typed Transcript from the District Court (Full or Partial):
Arrangements for a typed transcript are made with the official court reporting personnel for the hearing held.
A form is available to request a typed transcript of a trial or proceeding, or any part of a trial or proceeding. The form must be complete for the court reporter to process your request as quickly as possible. All of the information needed can be found in the district court case file.
A district court proceeding that has been placed upon the record can be transcribed and provided:
a. Upon the request of counsel or any party to a suit.
b. Upon request of any person not a party to a suit, IF approved by the trial judge.
All arrangements for a typed transcript are made directly with the official court reporting personnel for the hearing held.
The court reporting personnel will provide an estimate of the cost for the transcription based on the per-page amounts specified in Ne. Ct. Rule § 1-218, except that when expedited, daily, or real-time delivery is requested, the court reporting personnel and requesting party may mutually agree to an amount to be paid.
The estimated amount shall be paid to the court reporting personnel before the preparation of the transcript begins.
