Supreme Court Proposed Call

The following cases may be scheduled for argument at the session of the Supreme Court to be held on March 5, 6, or 7, 2025, in the Supreme Court Courtroom, State Capitol, Lincoln, Nebraska, or at the University of Nebraska School of Law, Lincoln, Nebraska. Check the Proposed Call for your case and mark your calendar. If you are an attorney and have a conflict on a specific date, please notify the Clerk’s Office in letter form via e-filing by selecting the "Notice of Conflicts with Call" option. If you are a self-represented litigant and have a conflict on a specific date, please notify the Clerk's Office in writing to Nebraska Supreme Court, PO Box 98910, Lincoln, NE  68509. If you are unavailable for all dates listed above, please file a stipulation or motion to continue.  You must show cause for the continuance. Conflicts must be received by January 24, 2025.  This deadline date will be strictly enforced.   

Prior to attending oral argument, parties are required to review the administrative order issued by Chief Justice Heavican on February 8, 2023.  Said administrative order can be found here.

After the cases have been scheduled on the call, cases will not be continued except on a showing of urgent necessity.
