Bev Hoagland Named Chief Probation Officer for Juvenile Division in Lincoln
Ms. Bev Hoagland has been promoted to Chief Probation Officer for District 3J Probation (Separate Juvenile Court for Lancaster County). She began her new position on February 14, 2022.
Hoagland remarked, “I am humbled and honored to be selected as the next Chief in District 3J. I look forward to leading a wonderful staff to serve our judges in this role and uphold our values of compassion, fairness, and professionalism in our work with youth and families.”
She joined the judicial branch in 1992 as a Juvenile Probation Officer and moved to Chief Deputy in 2000. She becomes Chief Probation Officer with a total of 30 years of experience in juvenile probation.
She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science from Midland Lutheran College.
Hoagland was presented with the 1999 Lincoln-Lancaster County Women’s Commission's 'Ambassador Award' and the 'Outstanding Probation Supervisor Award' in 2014.
