Clerk Magistrate Cindy Carrigan of the Fillmore County Court to Retire October 31
Fillmore County Clerk Magistrate Cindy Carrigan recently submitted her notice of retirement, effective October 31, 2025, after just over forty years of service to the Judicial Branch.
“Cindy is, and has been, as conscientious and hardworking as any clerk magistrate I know. She has been personable, diligent, and thoughtful in how she has always gone about her work for the Fillmore County Court. Her good nature and work ethic have made her not just a very positive feature of our county court but, truly, an icon of the Fillmore County Courthouse,” noted County Court Judge Michael Burns. He continued, “She has brought a level of professionalism and a quality of work, as the longtime Fillmore County Clerk Magistrate, that will not be soon forgotten. It has been my honor and great fortune to have worked with Cindy – and to call myself a colleague of hers.”
Immediately prior to the retirement of Carrigan an Interim Clerk Magistrate and Media Coordinator will be designated for the court.
