Nance County Clerk Magistrate Shirley Stuart-Monroe recently submitted her notice of retirement, effective December 31, 2024. Shirley has dedicated over 17 years of her career with the Judicial Branch, starting as a Records Clerk and retiring as a Dual Clerk, where she supported both the county and district courts in Nance County.

“Shirley has been a valuable and dedicated employee of the Nebraska Judicial Branch. Her service to the courts of the 5th District and to the public will be missed. I wish her a happy and healthy retirement,” commented County Court Judge Stephen R.W. Twiss.
