Lancaster County Veterans Treatment Court Mentors to Receive Award Tomorrow

WHAT: Ed Malk, the Lancaster County Veterans Treatment Court Lead Mentor has received an award from The Berry Law Firm. The Berry Law Firm will be presenting Mr. Malk with a $500 check for his volunteer work with the court. Ed is the lead mentor of the 10 mentor team, consisting of volunteer veteran mentors.
WHO: Award presented by: Andrew Strotman, Berry Law’s General Counsel and a USMC Veteran. Also present will be Riley Northup from the Berry Law Firm.

WHY: Berry Law firm accepted nominations for a 2019 ‘Reward a Veteran’ award. The Lancaster County Veterans Treatment Court Team was nominated and the lead mentor, Ed Malk, was selected at the individual winner for this award.
Veterans Court Mentor Oath:
I am forever conscious of every Veteran under my charge, and by example will inspire him or her to the highest standard possible.
I will strive to reintegrate my Veteran back into society.
I will live by the credo, “leave no Veteran behind,” and will give them the support only I, a Veteran, can give.
I will never forget that I am responsible to my fellow Veterans, and the Veterans Treatment Court program, and the law.
HOW: Cameras will be allowed without prior authorization, check with Dean Rohwer Veterans Treatment Court Coordinator, before taking photos.
