Clerk Magistrates Receive “Above and Beyond Awards”

Six Nebraska Clerk Magistrates were recognized by State Court Administrator Corey Steel during the September 2017 Clerk Magistrate’s meeting in Lincoln.  “Above and Beyond” awards were given to the individuals listed below for exemplary efforts in addition to their daily duties with the court system: 

  • Darla Schiefelbein (photo: top right) was commended for her work with the Guardian Conservator Committee, Office of Public Guardian Advisory Council, Clerk Magistrate’s Education Committee and as a Guardian-conservator specialist.
  • Beth Pullen (photo: bottom right) was thanked for her work with Polk County and District Courts, Clerk Office Consolidation Committee and her assistance with Hall County Court during the recent Clerk Magistrate transition. 
  • The County Court Procedural Manual Committee (photo above) was recognized for their work for the past several years in creating checklists and procedures manuals for courts across the state.  Pictured members are:   Tammie Duensing, Ellen Faltys, Gretchen Wiebe, and Melissa Ireland.
