New County Court Judge, Jeffrey A. Gaertig, took his oath of office May 7, 2021, at the Gage County Courthouse in Beatrice. Supreme Court Justice John Freudenberg administered the oath.

Gaertig began his judicial duties immediately. His primary office is in the courthouse in Beatrice.  He will serve the full 1^st Judicial District.
