The Douglas County Veterans Treatment Court is featured in the Veteran’s Day issue of the Omaha Daily Record after reaching its third anniversary the previous Sunday.

According to the article, there are the 15 graduates so far, plus 35 former service members currently participating.

The veterans being helped by the court have all plead guilty to committing felonies, often spending time in jail or living on the streets, before taking responsibility and seeking help.
