Probation’s Deputy Administrators Deb Minardi and Gene Cotter have been elected to the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA) Board of Directors. Deputy Administrator Deb Minardi will serve as Vice-President of APPA and Executive Board member.   Deputy Administrator Gene Cotter joins Ms. Minardi on the APPA Board as he was elected at the annual APPA Institute Board of Directors meeting to serve as the Regional at Large Representative to the Board.  

The American Probation and Parole Association works to protect society by providing information to the nation’s criminal and juvenile justice systems and to provide services to all persons under supervision.  As a volunteer Board of Director, both Deb and Gene take time from an extremely challenging work schedule to give Nebraska Probation a voice on the national landscape.  They serve as standard bearers for the over 80,000 men and women who work in probation and parole. Congratulations to Deb Minardi and Gene Cotter for their dedication and service to the field.
