A retirement reception honoring Debora Denny for her 14 years of service was held on June 24, 2019, in the law library. Denny carried out the position of Director of the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution since 2005. Over the course of her tenure, she worked with the judiciary to promote mediation and restorative justice in the state, including legislation such as the Parenting Act of 2007 and the Dispute Resolution and Restorative Justice Act in 2019.
