Diane Pieper, initially employed at the clerk's office since November 2012, has been designated as the Clerk of the District Court by the Wayne County Commissioners, effective from September 22, 2023. She is scheduled to take her oath of office on Friday, September 29.

Pieper assumed the role of interim clerk on September 15, succeeding Deb Allemann-Dannelly, who retired on September 8, 2023, after working for the clerk's office since November 2012.
