Douglas County Adult Drug Court Sponsors Donation Drive in Honor of Problem-Solving Court Month

In honor of May being designated as Problem-Solving Court Month, the Douglas County Adult Drug Court staff have organized a month-long donation drive. Throughout this period, donation boxes were conveniently placed in the Omaha probation offices to collect supplies intended for Carole’s House of Hope, a local non-profit organization.

Carole’s House of Hope is a transitional living program that provides supportive, safe, and secure housing to young women and mothers (ages 19-26), and their children, most of whom have experienced trauma and have aged out of the foster care system or are otherwise experiencing homelessness. The program provides resources for young women to build successful lives for themselves and their children.
