Drug Courts Help Get Lives Back on Track
Scotts Bluff County drug court attendees got together for National Drug Court Month and celebrated the work they’ve done to get their lives back on track. Scotts Bluff County Drug Court Coordinator Andee Hardesty said, “They motivate attendees to push towards sobriety to become better, to do better, and to not be an addict anymore.”
Josefina Gomez said her desire to spend more time with her sons and take care of her parents helped her to kick the habit of using drugs. She said she didn't want to be in prison any longer and uses her family as motivation to push her towards staying sober.
