The mental and physical health of courthouse employees and visitors became the focus of the Colfax County Clerk Magistrate Ellen Faltys and her staff when they made a conscious decision to choose hope over fear and to boost morale within the courthouse. Their first project was to install rainbows, a symbol of hope and encouragement, throughout the building. Assistant Clerk Julie Bideaux doubled down on the positive outlook by creating cloth face coverings out of fabric decorated with the scales of justice for the extended courthouse team.

Ellen, Julie and staff of the Colfax County Court, your extra effort to keep those around you both physically safe and emotionally healthy are appreciated.
