Stepping up is not unusual in the Office of Public Guardian, but Administrative Case Aides, Sarah Herrera, and Shelly Ging went far beyond expectations. Sarah took on the full-time role of Financial Operations Manager; overseeing the ward’s finances, budgets, payments, and receipts ensuring the OPG fiduciary responsibilities were met. Shelly took over all Case Aide responsibilities for Associate Public Guardian wards across the state, ensuring documents, benefit applications, placements, and medical information was processed accurately and on time. 

Shelly and Sarah, thank you for your hard work, and commitment. Without your dedication to completing these mission-critical tasks, our wards' needs would not have been met.
