As one of the first counties in Nebraska to be faced with self-quarantine for potential COVID exposure, court clerks in Cedar County acted quickly. Beginning March 10, 2020, Clerk of District Court Janet Wiechelman and Clerk Magistrate Diane Sudbeck coordinated an immediate response in cooperation with the administrative office that served as a model for other courts as the pandemic spread throughout the state.
