Hasan Davis Energizes Probation Management as they launch the HOPE Curriculum
The Administrative Office of the Courts and Probation launched the Advanced Coaching for Excellence (AC4E) Initiative in 2017 and this year focused on enhancing engagement practices with a curriculum created in partnership with Hasan Davis, Founder and Director of Hasan Davis Solutions, Inc. The curriculum is titled “HOPE” which stands for Humanity, Optimism, Perspective and Empathy which are core to engaging those we serve in the probation system every day.
On, March 3, 2022, Hasan Davis inspired and energized probation management at the annual Spring Management Meeting. His presentation included his personal story, and how as a manager it is essential to coach staff towards success with the new curriculum. This was done with motivational activities that left the group ready to go motivate staff. “I could listen to Hasan all day,” was a common comment from management as they walked out of the meeting ready to go back to their probation districts and keep implementing the HOPE curriculum.
Engagement is the third core element of the AC4E initiative and the curriculum is currently being trained in all probation districts by local management, as well as the Administrative Office through June of 2022. The HOPE curriculum includes four sessions focused on each of the HOPE priority engagement areas. Hasan Davis has supported Nebraska in many ways over the years, including participating on justice priorities with Supreme Court Chief Justice, Michael Heavican, pictured with Hasan.
