Reminding employees who are working from home during this unprecedented time to maintain their mandatory education credits is a universal message.  Recently a Chicago-based probation manager reached out to Nebraska Judicial Branch Education staff for ideas and was pleased to find a resource page ready to be shared with others.

In an email message to probation employees on March 25, 2020, Probation Education Manager, Jerid Wedige suggested that now might be a good time to start working on 2020 Judicial Branch Education credits. Noting, “As long as you have a computer and internet access you can start watching online courses and webinars.”  In response the recent social distancing and quarantine recommendations, Judicial Branch education has created a tab on the intranet with online training opportunities that can easily be accessed from home.  The page is updated on a regular basis so employees are instructed to check back often.
