The Nebraska Judicial Branch had a record-breaking Orientation attendance of 34 individuals in May! It appears that having a remote Orientation and taking it to the people is paying off as demonstrated through the cohort’s diversity:

• 34 attendees comprised of current and aspiring interpreter partners.
• 13 languages: Arabic, Burmese, Ewe, French, Karen, Korean, Kurdish, Nepali, Nuer, Russian, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese
• 2 States: NE and IA
• 10 NE counties: Colfax, Dawson, Douglas, Hall, Holt, Kimball, Lancaster, Platte, Sarpy, and Stanton

A much anticipated 2-day remote Skill Building session is scheduled for July 18_^th & 19_^th.
