Judicial Administrator Becky Bruckner Lancaster County Retired in Early December
Lancaster County Court Judicial Administrator Becky Bruckner submitted her notice of retirement effective December 6, 2023, after just over 20 years of service to the courts.
“Becky has seen Lancaster County Court through tremendous challenges in her 20 years at the helm,” commented Nebraska Trial Court Services Director Sheryl Connolly. “The court saw increased reliance in technology and extensive new programs developed to meet the needs of the court and court users, changes to records retention and increased sealing of records, COVID’s impact on the workplace and remote participation in court hearings, to name just a few. We are grateful for her years of service and wish her the very best in her retirement.”
Valorie Bendixen, Trial Court Director for District Court, will serve as interim Judicial Administrator for the Lancaster County Court.
