The Legislature uses the summer and fall to study topics of interest to senators. In most cases, committees assigned to interim studies take no action. However, hearings may be held and some topics are the basis for future legislative bills. Several interim studies are of interest to the Judicial Branch. They involve topics such as the juvenile code, postconviction relief, and problem-solving courts. Available now is the annual summary of bills from the 2022 session of interest to the Judicial Branch. It can be found on the intranet. (Intranet access required). In addition, the Revisor of Statutes has updated the statutes on the Legislature’s website to include all bills passed in the 2022 session
