Nebraska Court Improvement Project Releases 2nd Video in “A View from the Bench” Series
The Nebraska Court Improvement Project (CIP) has just released the second video in the “A View from the Bench” series of videos featuring Nebraska judges with juvenile court jurisdiction. The second video targets foster parents. Judges give advice to foster parents regarding courtroom protocol, an overview of court hearings, and the role of foster parents in 3a court proceedings. The episode features an introduction from Felicia Nelsen, Executive Director of Nebraska Foster and Adoptive Parent Association.
The series kicked off in 2022 with a video targeting DHHS caseworkers with judges speaking on how they see the role of caseworkers in court proceedings.
The videos have been well-received and CIP will be continuing the series, asking judges to address the roles of various stakeholders from their perspective.
