The 2021 session of the Nebraska Legislature is scheduled to begin Wednesday, January 6, and adjourn in early June.  The full schedule is tentative pending election of a new Speaker.  The schedule can be viewed: https://nebraskalegislature.gov/pdf/session/2021tentativecalendar.pdf

The budget for the 2021-2023 biennium will be the major issue of legislative discussion. Another pressing matter will be the necessity of redistricting (including Supreme Court districts) as a result of the 2020 census. When all legislation has been introduced, the list of bills monitored by the Judicial Branch will be posted on the intranet.
