Members from the Second and Ninth Judicial District Reentry Court Teams traveled to Kansas City, Missouri, on February 1, 2018, to conduct a site visit of the Western District of Missouri Federal Reentry Court. During the visit Judges Teresa Luther, Stefanie Martinez, and James Doyle, along with probation staff, held a question and answer session with the Federal Reentry Court Team. The Nebraska teams were also invited to attend a Reentry Court staffing and hearing.  The trip comes on the heels of the Nebraska Supreme Court’s recent approval of the Nebraska Reentry Court Best Practice Standards and the approval to establish Nebraska’s first Reentry Courts in the Second and Ninth Judicial District.
