Nebraska State Library Returns to State Capitol
Capitol construction required that the Nebraska State Library vacate its home on the third floor of the State Capitol over two years ago. The library has been housed temporarily at the UNL College of Law through a generous offer of on-campus space in the Schmid Law Library.
Librarians are now making the move back to the Capitol.
Although the move began November 8, the library is open to the public by appointment only until books are back in their proper place. The goal is to have the library open to the general public in early December.
