Nebraska Supreme Court Adopts Amendments to Rules of Discovery in Civil Cases, Rules of Civil Pleading, and Certificate of Service rules effective January 1, 2025
Effective January 1, 2025, the Nebraska Court Rules of Pleading in Civil Cases, the Nebraska Rules of Discovery in Civil Cases, and Neb. Ct. R. §2-205 governing certificates of service will change following the November 13, 2024, adoption of rule amendments to Neb. Ct. R. Disc. § 6-326 through § 6-337, Neb. Ct. R. Civ. Pldg. § 6-1101 et seq. and Neb. Ct. R. § 2-205. The rules apply to all Nebraska trial courts. The specific amendments to these rules can be reviewed on the Nebraska Supreme Court website: Neb. Ct. R.
