The Nebraska court one-time search using the Nebraska Judicial Branch "JUSTICE" System has received a significant upgrade. As of January 26, 2024, users are able to access non-confidential images associated with documents filed on or after April 2008.

Previously, the application limited one-time searches to text-only information when conducting case searches. The recent upgrade addresses this limitation by including relevant images without imposing additional costs; the $15.00 search fee now covers both text and images.

The decision to integrate images aims to enhance transparency and provide the same accessibility as those who subscribe to the full suite of services. The upgrade reflects a commitment to leveraging technology to provide a more inclusive overview of court cases for the one-time search user.
