Nebraska Supreme Court Security Clearinghouse Committee Offers Court and Probation Office Security Audits

Nebraska Supreme Court Security Clearinghouse Committee Offers Court and Probation Office Security Audits

The Nebraska Supreme Court Security Clearinghouse Committee is resuming security audits for court and probation facilities upon request of judge(s) or county officials.  The Committee will assign a team of trained and experienced security professionals to tour the requested facility and make written recommendations for security improvements for the courthouse, courtrooms, court and probation offices.  Audits have been helpful in several counties where security upgrades or remodeling were necessary or being considered.  Recommendations may range from use of existing locks on office doors to extensive security technology, depending upon the needs and budget of the county.

There is no charge for the security audit and report.

Submit questions or requests for an audit to the Committee in care of nsc.courtservices@nebraska.gov .

Members of the Supreme Court Clearinghouse Committee include Chairman Justice John Freudenberg, Honorable Leo Dobrovolny, Honorable Marcela Keim, Sergeant Theodore Huber, Sheriff Dwaine Ladwig, Security Officer Kent Ewing, Attorneys J. Adam Edmonds and Ashley Boettcher, and Deputy Probation Administrator Bob Denton.
