New Nebraska Judicial Electronic Exhibits System Launches, Creating Electronic Exhibit Repository

The Nebraska Supreme Court has announced the launch of the Nebraska Judicial Electronic Exhibits System (NJEES). The newly established electronic platform allows parties, court staff, and judges to stage, submit, mark, offer, receive, and store electronic exhibits for trials and other evidentiary court hearings.

NJEES aims to streamline the handling of exhibits, providing a more efficient way to manage evidence. Initially, the system will be available as part of a pilot project, limited to select counties where the necessary technology and support from the court and attorneys are available. The AOCP is coordinating the pilot, with the future rollout based on the success of the pilot sites.

This new system provides a centralized repository for electronic exhibits, making it easier for all involved in the legal process to access and store evidence.

Courts participating in the pilot may be viewed here.
